How to Recognize Online Scams

Here are a few measures you can take to evaluate the legitimacy of a website:

1. Check Domain Registration Details: Use WHOIS or other domain registrar tools to review the registration details of a website. Recent or concealed registration information may indicate fraudulent activity.

3. Trust Your Intuition: Use your judgment when browsing a website. Consider factors like professional design, spelling/grammatical errors, and early requests for personal details. Trust your instincts when evaluating the legitimacy of a website.

4. Conduct Thorough Research: Before engaging with any website that involves personal or financial data, conduct thorough research. Gather all relevant information and make an informed decision before proceeding.

  1. Skybuyer is definitely a scam, more like a Ponzi scheme. It is advisable to avoid and report them.
Some of the red flags to note includes, using a white female picture on both whatsapp and telegram profile while the account numbers they use carries Nigerian computer generated names.
Like all Ponzi schemes, they let you win some few bucks on the first few transaction and they keep dangling you carrot to lure you to invest more while they freeze your account on the pretext that you need to invest more.
    I speak from experience.

    1. So how do u now later recover your money.and I don’t know what came over me,I don’t even really know what I am doing until I borrowed a loan and they are telling me I need to finish the last missions task and it’s end up at 93% till I recharge,50000,50000,30000 55000,95000,now they want me to remit 180,000
What did u do to recover your money because I have their account details which I am paying my fund for the platform .

  2. It is a scam because they will give you an impossible tasks to complete in a day which demand bigger money to complete. And when you did not complete the tasks you lost all the money invested and profit. So please stay away from sky buyer and crowd1.

  3. Am into SKYBUYER. I have not seen any scam features. Because, the price of products will depend on ur capital and when u aim at making huge profit and u invest huge amount, the system is automated you will be seeing high cost products which u may not be able to complete its payment. Hence, feeling it’s a scam. For instance, am given a product worth 63k I paid. And am given one worth 118k and I paid to complete my task. Had it being am not prepared and I saw that. Wahala don burst. Then it’s a scam. It’s a simple thing to work on. What is killing us is greed, quest for too much without being ready to pay the price. If not why not be doing it small small and bit by bit then you enjoy SKYBUYER not aiming at how much you may not be able to match. Remember, no cross no crown.

  6. Chizobam Uwakwe

Pls someone should help me. I’m stucked in this. I’ve invested so much. I continued the task till I got to 115k task and now I don’t have more money to continue. I’m scared that if I pay the 115k I don’t know whether that will be my last task or they’ll continue giving me task.

    1. I kept investing till I was asked to invest #75k which I certainly don’t have. This is after I’ve invested close to #100k already for a task of 5k . I ended up losing everything. Just stop there for your own good. I think they are monitoring the transactions from their system and will give you a very expensive item to buy once you scale the present height. It is a big scam

  7. Please I don’t know what is happening at the moment am really scared because I started with 3k and now my money I used is close to 170k and my commission is 33k and I don’t have money to complete the task and now they don’t want to give me my money telling me to complete it before I collect it.
